If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Refreshing, both of them.

Yesterday, I woke up around noon. It was a decent sunday sleep-in. Rather than doing school work after getting up, I read. It felt really good, very fulfilling. Books used to be a huge chunk of my daily life, for some reason I have been putting off on books for a while, and I feel my identity has started losing its integrity. In order to avoid doing something, people always find excuses and make them sound legit. I'm very much like that. After I read today, I realized that it is not something hard to keep up at all if I just set aside an hour for books per day. Because I waste at least an hour everyday anyways. Indeed, I need to chase back my good old habit before it runs too far away from me.

Well...I went completely off topic. I wasn't going to write about reading at all. Here is what I originally planned to write:

Yesterday, I woke up late. Then I got to read a little bit. Around 6pm, I walked out of the parking garage and found out it was raining, not so bad, but it wasn't definitely just sprinkling. I never liked rain for various reasons. However, being unaware of what I was thinking. I stood in the rain for at least 10 minutes, totally spreaded my arms to embrace the raindrops. It felt surprisingly amazing! I was reminded of the song "Grace like rain", and received abundant joy. Troubles on my mind were washed away. From getting poured on intentionally for the first time, I tasted a tinge of freedom.

Rain is a great relief, snow never is.
